A Bar Unlike Any Other
At the heart of Akwa Marina Beach Bar is a remarkable piece of maritime history. The Anona Bar began its journey as a 27-foot wooden sloop built in 1904 in New York. Rather than allowing this beautiful vessel to remain permanently out of the water and forgotten, it was given a new life as the centerpiece of our waterfront gathering space.
Today, the historic boat has been transformed into a truly distinctive bar, complete with half-inch tempered glass that allows guests to admire its original craftsmanship and unique details while enjoying food and drinks. Surrounded by the warmth of the timber pavilion and the beauty of Meredith Bay, the Anona Bar offers an atmosphere that captures both the character of the past and the spirit of lakeside living.
